Empowering Young Minds with Ideas That Matter

The Department of Computer Science conducted an outreach program at Kendriya Vidyalaya IISc to encourage entrepreneurial thinking among Class 9, 11, and 12 students. The event helped students identify real-world problems and develop creative, sustainable business ideas through teamwork and innovation. Two interactive rounds were held: Logo Making, where students designed brand logos, and an On-the-Spot Business Idea Pitch, which tested quick thinking, communication, and creativity. The event boosted students’ confidence, design thinking, and presentation skills while introducing them to basic entrepreneurship concepts such as innovation, branding, and business modeling.

Extension Activity in Association with NSS

The Department of Computer Science organized an extension activity in association with NSS on 03/03/2025 for V, VI, and VII standard students at Government School, Kendanahalli, Kaivara. The visit proved to be an informative and enriching experience for both the students and faculty members.

The session emphasized the importance of computers, their evolution, and their practical applications in everyday life. Engaging problem-solving activities and interactive discussions were conducted to promote critical thinking skills among the students.

The school students showed keen interest throughout the session, and the activities fostered curiosity, enthusiasm, and a better understanding of technology in their young minds.
