The Department of Sports, MSRCASC – Autonomous, successfully conducted the RPL-2 Inter-Class Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament 2025–26 from 06th to 09th January 2026. The four-day tournament aimed to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and a healthy competitive spirit among students.
A total of 22 inter-class teams from various courses participated enthusiastically. Matches were organized systematically with league and knockout stages, ensuring fair play and discipline throughout the event. The tournament witnessed strong support from students and faculty, creating an energetic sporting atmosphere on campus.
In a thrilling final, the MBA 2nd Year team emerged as champions, while the MBA 1st Year team secured the runner-up position. Both teams displayed excellent coordination, skill, and sportsmanship.
The event concluded successfully, providing a platform for student engagement, leadership development, and strengthening unity among departments, while encouraging an active and vibrant campus sports culture.

The Bengaluru City University conducted the Roller Sports Team Selection Trials for the All India Inter-University Championship 2025–26 under the Directorate of Physical Education. Around 21 players from 8 affiliated colleges participated, showcasing impressive skills and sportsmanship.
Based on performance, 7 players (Men & Women) were provisionally selected to represent the university in quad and inline skating events. Notable selections include Hemadri D Y Gowda, Chethan K, Akash V Yajaman, and Sangu Trisha.
The trials were conducted smoothly with the support of coaches and officials. The university congratulated the selected players and wished them success at the national-level championship.

The Annual Athletic Meet – 2026 of Ramaiah College of Arts, Science and Commerce was held with great enthusiasm on 6th March 2026 at the MSR Ground. The event witnessed active participation from students and faculty, promoting sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork.
The Chief Guest, Anil Alexander Aldrin, former Indian Hockey Captain and Olympian, inspired the gathering. The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries including M. R. Seetharam, M. R. Janakiram, M. R. Anandaram, and M. R. Ramaiah, along with senior academic leaders, adding prestige to the occasion.
A key highlight was the March Past, where EMC’s secured first place, followed by BSc Life Sciences and BA. The Overall Championship was won by BSc (EMC’s – Physical Sciences) for their outstanding performance. Individual excellence was recognized with Sanjana (BBA 3rd Year) and Divyesh Gowda (BBA 1st Year) named Best Athletes.
