YUGASTR 2026 is a futuristic tech festival organized by the Department of Computer Applications, Ramaiah College of Arts, Science & Commerce (Autonomous). Presented by TECHTONIC, the event celebrates innovation and emerging technologies. The chief guest is Mr. Veerendra Shetty, Founder, MD & CEO of Visukhi Infotech Pvt Ltd. The program was held on 17-02-2026 at 10:00 AM in Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Auditorium, welcoming management, staff, and students to explore the future of technology.
Inter-Class Competitions – Techno Freaks

The Department of Computer Science organised the Inter-Class Competitions – Techno Freaks for 5th Semester BCA students, coordinated by Hari Priya G S and Brundha N, Assistant Professors. The event was held in the 4th and 5th Floor Computer Labs with 80 students participating in events like Crackathon, IT Quiz, Tech Hunt, Web Designing, and IT Manager. The competitions aimed to enhance coding skills, logical reasoning, creativity, problem-solving, and managerial abilities. Students demonstrated excellent teamwork and innovation, and winners and runner-ups were recognised during the prize distribution ceremony. Overall, Techno Freaks provided a valuable platform for students to apply theoretical knowledge in practical challenges, fostering academic and personal growth.
CHATURYA – Innovate Compete Conquer
Date: 18th and 19th October 2024
Chaturya 2024 proved to be an outstanding celebration of technology, innovation, and creativity. The event successfully brought together students from various colleges, fostering an environment of healthy competition and camaraderie. With a diverse range of events, participants had the opportunity to showcase their skills and knowledge, while also gaining valuable insights into the ever-evolving field of Information Technology. The seamless organization, spirited participation, and the cultural activities added an extra dimension to the fest, making it a memorable experience for all involved. The success of Chaturya not only highlighted the technical expertise of the participants but also reinforced the importance of collaboration, learning, and sportsmanship. The event concluded on a high note, with Presidency College emerging as the overall winner, and the host college, M. S. Ramaiah College of Arts, Science and Commerce, receiving accolades for hosting a well-executed and enriching festival.
