Drone Training

Introduces cadets to unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and their applications. Cadets learn basic flying skills, safety rules, and aerial navigation, highlighting uses in surveillance, mapping, and disaster management.

Microlight Flying

Offers hands-on experience in flying lightweight aircraft under expert supervision. Cadets learn basic controls and safety procedures, inspiring careers in the Air Force and aviation.

Range Firing

Cadets practice shooting under strict supervision to develop accuracy, confidence, and discipline while handling weapons safely—essential preparation for future roles in the armed forces.

Simulator Training

A training tool allowing cadets to practice shooting in a virtual environment. It helps improve aim and coordination safely and cost-effectively before moving to actual range firing.

Skeet Shooting

Trains cadets to shoot moving clay targets. It enhances reflexes, hand-eye coordination, and concentration, providing an exciting, skill-based training experience.

National Training Camps & Attachments

Republic Day Camp (RDC)

The pinnacle of NCC training held in Delhi. Cadets endure a grueling, multi-stage selection process: Pre-IGC (1, 2, 3), Inter-Group Competitions (IGC), and Pre-RDC (1, 2, 3). Only the elite are chosen to represent their Directorates. Events include the prestigious March Past on Kartavya Path, the Prime Minister’s Rally, Line Area competitions, and cultural showcases.

Youth Exchange Programme (YEP)

Cadets are selected to represent India as "Brand Ambassadors" in friendly foreign countries. This overseas deployment focuses on international diplomacy, cultural sharing, and building global ties.

All India Vayu Sainik Camp (AIVSC)

The premier national competition specifically for Air Wing cadets. Selection is highly competitive, involving three rigorous phases—Pre-VSC 1, 2, and 3—to field the best wing-level team. Once at AIVSC, cadets compete in microlight flying, aero-modelling, skeet shooting, and drill to claim the title of the best Air Wing Directorate in the country.

Para Basic Course

Held at the Paratroopers Training School (PTS) in Agra. Selected cadets earn their "Para Wings" after completing five successful jumps, including one at night, mastering the art of tactical descent.

Basic Mountaineering Course (BMC)

A grueling 28-day stint at institutes like JIM & WS, ABVIMAS, NIMAS, IHCAE, NIM or HMI. Cadets learn rock craft, ice craft, snow craft and glacier survival techniques at high altitudes. It’s designed to build extreme physical endurance and mental grit. Selection involves physical proficiency tests and a formal interview.

IMA Attachment Camp

Held at the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun. Cadets experience the daily regimen of Gentlemen Cadets (GCs), gaining firsthand insight into the training pipeline of the Indian Army’s officer corps.

Special Adventure Camps

10 days of high-octane activities including white-water rafting, paragliding, or rock climbing. These camps are focused on testing the "fear factor" and building a spirit of risk-taking among cadets.

Sports Climbing Course

A specialized camp focusing on competitive wall climbing. Cadets learn technical knots, belaying, and speed climbing, blending athletic agility with technical safety skills.

Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB)

A cultural exchange program where cadets from different states live together. The goal is to celebrate India’s diversity, learn regional languages, and foster a deep sense of national identity through shared traditions.

Trekking Camps

National-level expeditions through India’s most rugged terrains. Cadets cover long distances on foot, promoting environmental awareness, physical stamina, and the "roughing it out" spirit.

Advanced Leadership Camps (ALC)

Focused on personality development and officer-like qualities (OLQs). Cadets undergo psychometric testing, public speaking workshops, and team-building exercises to prepare for SSB interviews.

Air Force Attachment Camp

A rare opportunity to live and train at an active Indian Air Force station. Cadets witness squadron operations, technical hangars, and interact with IAF officers to understand the life of an air warrior.

White Water Rafting Camps

An adrenaline-fueled camp conducted in turbulent rivers like the Ganges or Beas. It teaches cadets water safety, synchronized paddling, and how to navigate high-grade rapids as a cohesive team.

Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC)

The foundational 10-day camp held at the unit level. It introduces cadets to camp life, featuring firing practice, drill, and theory classes, serving as the qualifying step for "B" and "C" certificate exams.
