On 06.08.2024 the I MBA were taken to iD Factory as a part of Industrial Visit. The visit provided valuable practical insights into the functioning of a real-world organization, allowing students to relate theoretical concepts to actual business practices. The MBA Department organized an insightful industry visit to Goa Dairy from 21st to 25th November 2024. The visit provided students with a comprehensive understanding of the dairy industry, covering milk processing, quality control, production management, and supply chain operations.

Industrial visit to Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL)

On 1st February 2025, the MBA students of M.S. Ramaiah College of Arts, Science, and Commerce (MSRCASC) had the privilege of visiting Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for a prestigious Corporate Conclave. This visit aimed to provide students with valuable corporate exposure, industry insights, and opportunities to participate in competitive events that tested their business acumen and analytical skills.
The primary objectives of the visit were:
- To gain first-hand knowledge of HAL’s corporate structure and operations.

MBA Department Visits IISc Open Day 2025: Exploring Innovations & Research

The Department of MBA at Ramaiah College of Arts, Science, and Commerce had the unique opportunity to visit the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore on the occasion of Open Day 2025. A team of 30 students and 3 faculty members participated in this insightful visit, engaging with researchers and industry experts across various scientific disciplines.
Exploring Research Excellence
Students toured multiple research departments, including Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, and Aerospace Engineering, witnessing groundbreaking innovations shaping the future of technology and science.
Interactive Learning & Discussions
The visit provided students with the chance to interact with scientists, researchers, and exhibitors, gaining first-hand knowledge of ongoing projects, emerging technologies, and real-world applications.
UAV Lab & Drone Technology
A major highlight of the visit was the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) Lab, where students explored drone operations and their commercial applications in agriculture. The interactive session with researchers helped them understand the technical, economic, and regulatory aspects of drone usage.

On 9th April 2025, MBA students from M.S. Ramaiah College of Arts, Science and Commerce visited Volvo Construction Equipment, Peenya, Bengaluru, as part of an industrial exposure initiative. The primary objective of the industrial visit to Volvo Construction Equipment, Peenya was to provide MBA students with firsthand exposure to real-time manufacturing operations in the construction equipment industry. The visit aimed to enhance students' understanding of lean manufacturing practices, quality and safety protocols, and the integration of sustainability in industrial processes. It also sought to bridge the gap between academic concepts and practical business applications, fostering industry-readiness among students.
Industrial Visit to Toyoda Gosei, Bidadi
Date: 3rd May 2025
An industrial visit to Toyoda Gosei, Bidadi was successfully organized by the Department of Management Studies on 3rd May 2025, commencing at 8:30 AM. Coordinated by Prof. Satyan and Ms. Kruthi VP, the visit provided MBA students with an opportunity to gain practical exposure to the operations of a global automotive component manufacturer. Held at Toyota Gosei’s state-of-the-art facility in Bidadi, the event aimed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry practices, fostering a deeper understanding of manufacturing excellence, quality control, and lean production systems.
The primary objectives of the program were to provide hands-on training in SAP FICO functionalities. To enhance students’ understanding of financial accounting and controlling in SAP. It also tried to familiarize students with essential SAP modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR).
The training program Improved proficiency in using SAP FICO for financial management. It also Enhanced understanding of financial reporting and controlling processes. Apart from these, Better knowledge of industry-relevant SAP applications.
Ess Cee Print Pack Private Limited, Peenya

As part of the experiential learning initiative, the Department of Management Studies organized an industrial visit for 1st-year MBA students to Esscee Print Pack, Peenya, on 6th and 7th March 2025.
Objective of the Visit
- To expose students to the practical functioning of a printing and packaging unit
- To help them understand the end-to-end printing process, from pre-press to dispatch
- To explore operational management, supply chain practices, and quality control techniques
- To understand the role of technology and automation in enhancing production efficiency
- To encourage students to learn from real-world entrepreneurial and management practices
Industrial Visit to Volvo Bus Manufacturing Unit, Narsapura, Kolar

The Department of Management Studies organized an industrial visit for MBA 1st Year – A Section students on 11th July 2025 to the prestigious Volvo Bus Manufacturing Unit located at Narsapura, Kolar. The visit was a part of the academic initiative to provide students with experiential learning beyond the classroom.
This hands-on exposure aimed to bridge the gap between management theories and real-world industrial practices. The students had the opportunity to witness global manufacturing standards, understand advanced production techniques, and interact with professionals working in various operational departments of the facility.
