IIC Event – Innovate the Future

An IIC event titled “Innovate the Future” – Poster Presentation Competition was conducted on 23rd February 2026 at Room No. 636, Gallery Room, 6th Floor, MSRCASC. The competition was open to MSRCASC students, with 50 participants showcasing their innovative ideas and creative concepts.

The theme “Innovate the Future” encouraged students to present forward-thinking ideas related to technology, entrepreneurship, sustainability, digital transformation, and social innovation. Participants prepared informative and visually appealing posters that highlighted emerging trends, problem-solving approaches, and futuristic business models.

The event aimed to foster creativity, critical thinking, and an entrepreneurial mindset among students. It provided a platform for them to express innovative solutions to real-world challenges while enhancing their presentation and communication skills.

Weekly Club Activity – Collage Making Competition

The BBA Club organized its weekly activity, “Collage Making Competition,” on 21st February 2026 at 12:25 PM in Room No. 636, Gallery Room, 6th Floor, MSRCASC. The theme for the competition was Union Budget 2026–27, and the event saw the active participation of 50 BBA students.

Students were required to create creative and informative posters in the form of collages highlighting key aspects of the Union Budget 2026–27. Participants showcased major budget allocations, tax reforms, government schemes, economic priorities, and sector-wise developments through visual representation and brief descriptions.

The activity aimed to enhance students’ awareness of current economic policies while encouraging creativity and analytical thinking. Through this competition, students were able to better understand the impact of the Union Budget on various sectors such as agriculture, industry, infrastructure, and social welfare.

The BBA Club conducted its weekly activity titled “Data Interpretation Competition” on 14th February 2026 at 12:25 PM in Room No. 636, Gallery Room, 6th Floor, MSRCASC. The competition witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 50 BBA students.

The activity was organized in the form of a quiz where students were required to interpret data presented through tables, charts, and graphs. Participants analyzed numerical information, identified trends, calculated percentages, and drew logical conclusions based on the given data. The competition aimed to strengthen students’ analytical thinking, quantitative aptitude, and decision-making skills.

FinQuiz was designed to test students’ knowledge in the field of finance. The quiz covered various topics such as financial management, banking, stock markets, budgeting, investment strategies, and current financial affairs. The activity encouraged students to think critically and apply their classroom knowledge to practical scenarios.

The BBA Club organized a fun and engaging weekly activity titled “Brain v/s Brand” on 24th January 2026 at 12:25 PM in Room No. 636, Gallery Room, 6th Floor, MSRCASC. The activity was conducted exclusively for BBA students, with 50 students actively participating.

The concept of the event was simple yet intellectually stimulating – participants had to guess the brand or company based on three carefully curated clues. The clues were related to taglines, logos, founders, products, or unique brand features. The activity tested students’ knowledge of branding, marketing strategies, and corporate identity.

Students enthusiastically participated in the competition, showcasing quick thinking, brand awareness, and teamwork. The session created a lively atmosphere while also enhancing their understanding of brand positioning and recall value, which are essential concepts in marketing.

Orientation Programme – II & IV Semester BBA

An orientation programme was conducted for the II and IV Semester BBA students on 5th January 2026. The session was addressed by Dr. M Lakshmipathi Naidu, Head of the Department, along with the proctors.

The orientation focused on providing clarity regarding the syllabus, Value Added Programmes (VAP), certificate courses, and semester-end examination guidelines. Students were briefed about academic expectations, course structure, and important academic policies to ensure a smooth and focused semester.

The session was informative and helped students gain a clear understanding of their academic roadmap for the semester.


Hire Quest: Resume Making and Mock Interview

The HR Cell of the BBA Department successfully organized “Hire Quest – Resume Making and Mock Interview” on 6th November 2025 at 2:00 PM on the 6th Floor of MSRCASC. The program was conducted exclusively for BBA students with the objective of enhancing their employability skills and preparing them to face real-time recruitment processes with confidence. A total of 30 BBA students actively participated in the session. The event was structured into two key segments: Resume Building and Mock Interviews, focusing on practical exposure and skill development.

During the resume-making session, students were guided on how to prepare professional and industry-ready resumes tailored specifically for management and corporate roles. Important elements such as resume format, highlighting academic achievements, internships, certifications, leadership roles, and extracurricular activities were explained in detail. Special emphasis was laid on aligning resumes with job descriptions and understanding recruiter expectations in the business and management sector.

The second segment featured Mock Interviews, where students experienced a simulated corporate interview environment. Participants were assessed on communication skills, subject knowledge, confidence, body language, and problem-solving abilities. Constructive feedback was provided to help them identify areas of improvement and refine their interview performance. This interactive approach enabled students to gain firsthand experience and reduce interview anxiety. The session was highly engaging and informative, encouraging students to actively participate and clarify their doubts regarding placements and career opportunities in the corporate sector. The initiative significantly contributed to building the professional readiness of BBA students. International Girl Child Day

The BBA Department, MSRCASC, celebrated International Girl Child Day with a series of meaningful activities aimed at promoting awareness about the rights, education, and empowerment of the girl child. As part of the celebration, Painting and Essay Writing Competitions were organized on the 6th Floor, MSRCASC, at 2:00 PM.

A total of 30 students actively participated in the competitions, expressing their creativity and perspectives on themes related to girl child empowerment, equality, and social responsibility. The events provided students with an effective platform to voice their ideas artistically and intellectually.

The program was successfully coordinated by the faculty coordinator Ms. Harshitha M, whose guidance and support ensured the smooth conduct of the celebration. The observance helped sensitize students towards gender equality and highlighted the importance of empowering the girl child in building a progressive society.


Finance Cell under Elixir Club presents IPL Auction

The Finance Cell under the Elixir Club, MSRCASC, organized an engaging club activity titled “IPL Auction” on 28/10/2025 at 1:45 PM on the 6th Floor, MSRCASC. The event was designed to provide students with practical exposure to financial decision-making, budgeting, and strategic thinking through a simulated IPL auction environment.

A total of 130 students enthusiastically participated in the activity. Participants were divided into teams and were given the opportunity to bid for players while managing limited budgets, replicating real-world auction dynamics. The activity helped students understand concepts such as team valuation, financial planning, risk analysis, and strategic allocation of resources.

The interactive format encouraged teamwork, analytical thinking, and healthy competition among the participants. Students gained valuable insights into the financial and managerial aspects involved in sports management and auctions.

The Department of BBA successfully conducted the Orientation Program for 2nd Semester Students of the Autonomous Batch 2024–27 on 06 January 2025. The session aimed to prepare students for the upcoming academic term and provide them with clarity on academic expectations, departmental initiatives, and growth opportunities.

The orientation was graced by Dr. Lakshmipathi Naidu, Head of the Department, BBA, who addressed the students with an inspiring talk on academic discipline, professional development, and the significance of proactive learning. National Girl Child day celebration

On 31 January 2025, the department commemorated National Girl Child Day by organizing meaningful activities under the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC). The event aimed to promote awareness about the rights, education, and empowerment of the girl child.

Students of the II Semester actively participated in the Drawing and Essay Writing competitions, showcasing their creativity and thoughtful reflections on the significance of nurturing and supporting girls in society. Their artworks and essays highlighted themes of empowerment, equality, safety, and opportunities for the girl child.

The Department of BBA successfully organized an Orientation Session for the upcoming 6th Semester on 16 March 2025, designed for the 2nd Semester students of the 2022–25 batch. International Youth Day

The Department of BBA, in proud collaboration with IIC, hosted an energetic two-day celebration of International Youth Day on 12 and 13 August 2025. The event brought together imagination, innovation, and youthful enthusiasm through two exciting competitions — the Logo Designing Competition and the Business Plan Competition.

Students from the 1st and 3rd semesters of BBA, along with participants from other streams, showcased remarkable creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. The Logo Designing Competition saw vibrant, original designs that captured the essence of youth empowerment, while the Business Plan Competition witnessed bold, forward-thinking ideas presented with passion and precision. The atmosphere buzzed with inspiration as students explored real-world problem-solving and creative branding skills.
