A guest lecture on “Working Capital Management” was organized on 3rd February 2026 for the BBA IV Semester students (2024–27 Batch). The session was delivered by Dr. Mohammed Umair at 10:30 AM on the 6th Floor, MSRCASC.

The lecture focused on the importance of efficient working capital management in ensuring the smooth functioning of a business. The speaker elaborated on key components such as cash management, inventory management, receivables and payables management, and the significance of maintaining an optimal balance between liquidity and profitability.

Through practical examples and real-world business scenarios, students gained a deeper understanding of how effective working capital strategies contribute to operational efficiency and financial stability. The interactive session encouraged students to clarify their doubts and relate theoretical concepts to corporate practices.

Workshop on “Entrepreneurship and Innovation as a Career Opportunity”

The HR Cell of the BBA Department, MSRCASC, organized a club activity titled “Hire Quest – Resume Making and Mock Interview” on 06/11/2025 at 2:00 PM on the 6th Floor, MSRCASC. The program was aimed at enhancing the employability skills of students and preparing them for real-time recruitment processes.

A total of 30 students actively participated in the session. The activity focused on resume-making techniques, where students were guided on creating professional and impactful resumes by highlighting their skills, academic achievements, and career objectives. This was followed by a mock interview session, which provided students with practical exposure to interview scenarios commonly faced during campus placements.

The participants received constructive feedback on communication skills, confidence, body language, and interview etiquette. The interactive nature of the session helped students gain better insight into industry expectations and identify areas for self-improvement.

The event was successfully coordinated by the faculty coordinators Ms. Deepa R and Ms. Evelyn Nischitha, whose guidance and support ensured the smooth conduct of the program. Overall, the club activity proved to be highly beneficial in building students’ confidence and career readiness.
