• To enhance the confidence level in students toward building their career.

Xtasy -2023 was a mega cultural event that was organised by Ramaiah college of Arts, science and commerce. Ramaiah’s cultural extravaganza began on 23rd of January with the flash mob performance and the rolling of the banner. The principal graced the occasion by lighting the lamp followed by an inaugural dance. This cultural fest was an interclass competition with multiple talent shows.

There were five different on stage events namely Solo singing, group singing, Solo Dance, Group dance and ethnic fashion show. There were three off stage events Face Painting, Collage and Mehandi. The off stage event included the entire undergraduate students as the participants. The on stage events was assigned department wise on different days for their performances. External as well as internal judges were invited for every performance. The external judges were the alumni’s of those particular departments. The volunteers and the committee members worked hard to keep each day’s programme proceed in a smooth and disciplined manner.

Every session ended by handing over the mementos to the external judges with their special performance. A group photo was taken along with the judges and the volunteers after every day’s event. Books were given as prizes for the winners. The prize distribution was on formal session where the principal along with the vice principals awarded the prize winners.

Later session was handed over to speaker of the day, he started by interacting with the students on the question “What is Technology?”. he briefly gave explanation about “Project Kali”, and interacted with students about “Operation shakti 1998” and about Artificial Intelligence which is important in the present world.

He then gave examples of Entrepreneurship with the help of giving real examples like EV Tesla, Air BNB, Paytm etc. He went on to discuss the advancements in Technology, and how technology is important in this world and pros and cons of technology, challenges that could be faced during entrepreneurship and how to overcome and work on it.

With so much information delivered to the students, it obviously gave rise to many queries in the minds of the students which the speaker was happy to clarify. The Q&A Session was followed with a vote of thanks by Mr Bharath C. The session was focused on motivating the students toward entrepreneurship through the life story of our successful entrepreneur, Mr.Parmar. he shared his experience how he builds a product “Game Box”.

As a part of honouring the guest of the day a memento was presented by Dr. Prathibha Kalburgi, HOD of Computer Science department. The session ended with taking group photo with guest and participants.
