In recent years, we have made great strides in providing more accessible and equitable resources for people with special abilities. Accommodating the needs of specially-abled students, faculty, and staff is more important than ever before, not just for legal reasons but because providing access to college life is critical to helping people of all abilities reach their full potential.

Buildings and classrooms are being retrofitted with ramps and elevators; computers and keyboards with accessibility features; books on tape and enlarged print; and improved lighting and acoustics are in place.
